San Felipe Creek Project
The San Felipe Creek Project will address the problem of “invader” species in the San Felipe Creek. The San Felipe Minnow is endangered and being taken over by the Plecostomas hipostomas or armored catfish, typically seen in fish tanks cleaning the tank. Students will investigate the loss of the native fish population, the loss of habitat, and destruction of food sources with local research biologists and create a variety of artistic expressions to demonstrate their findings.
For complete information about this project visit Del Rio Council For The Arts or call (830) 775-0888 for more information and/or to register your child today! |
